We’re thrilled to invite you to be part of something we hope you’ll love. Deck of Art Fort Collins is a project that brings local artists together in a fresh, tangible way and puts your work directly into the hands of the community.

About the Project

We’re creating a custom-printed deck of playing cards, with a different local artist's work featured on the face of each card. The deck will launch to the public on the first Friday of December 2026, accompanied by an exhibition at the City of Fort Collins' Center for Creativity (C4C).

All participating artists are invited to display the work used for their card in the C4C exhibition. We're also exploring related exhibitions and events leading up to and during the show, offering additional opportunities to showcase larger bodies of your work.

What We Need From You

Just two things: a high-resolution image and permission to use it for the project: on the card itself, in a project poster, and in related marketing materials. That's it.

You have flexibility in how you submit your image. You're welcome to create something new specifically for the project designed with the “pips” (suit and card markings) positioned in the upper left and lower right corners; or repurpose an existing piece. You can crop and add the pips yourself, or we're happy to help with either or both.

What You'll Receive

  • 3 complimentary decks, plus wholesale pricing on additional decks (a project poster will also be available to artists at cost).

  • An invitation to exhibit your card artwork at the Center for Creativity (Dec. 2–6, 2026).*

  • Additional exhibition and event opportunities as they develop.

  • Additional promotional opportunities as they develop.

  • The joy of being part of a fun collaborative art project!

*If you choose to participate in the exhibition (and we really hope you will!), selling your work there is entirely optional. We do ask a 15% commission on any sales to help offset the cost of the venue rental and reception.
